Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and wheel loaders.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is safe and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and maintain workflow on-site.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a strong understanding of construction site practices.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality control standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
