The Shop Hand is responsible for performing daily duties related to the general upkeep and maintenance of the shop and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with ethics, honesty, values, and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.
- Performs various shop duties including maintaining a clean work environment inside and outside the shop.
- Completes preventative maintenance, make ready, and wash procedures.
- Cleans, paints, and loads equipment and tools.
- Repairs trailers including bearings, wheels, tires, brakes, and lighting under Mechanic supervision.
- Uses all electrical tools, safety devices, and equipment according to Company policies and safety procedures.
- Operates skid steer and forklift according to Company polices and safety standards.
- Completes all required monthly safety and equipment-related trainings.
- Answers Company-issued cell phone during on call hours, in accordance with Company and safety policies.
- Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds required.

Must be able to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.

Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent verbal and written instructions in English are understood.
