Maintenance Technician - Days
Job Summary
Join our cookie manufacturing team in Pleasant View as a Maintenance Technician earning $26-$28/hour on a Monday-Friday day shift starting at 5:00 AM. We're looking for a skilled technician with electrical knowledge to keep our production equipment running smoothly in a fast-growing food manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on cookie production equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, and control panels to minimize downtime
- Conduct routine inspections of conveyor systems, ovens, and packaging equipment
- Replace worn parts, belts, and components to maintain optimal production flow
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to keep production on schedule
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate repair logs
- Follow all food safety and OSHA guidelines in a manufacturing environment
- Collaborate with production team to schedule maintenance during optimal windows
What You Bring
Required:
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
Preferred:
- Food manufacturing or bakery experience
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Welding or fabrication skills
- Trade school certification or apprenticeship background
Schedule & Shift
Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Pay & Compensation
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience
