HotFoot Recruiters is hiring an Experienced Garment Cutter to support a busy apparel manufacturing operation in Phoenix, AZ.
This is a hands-on cutting-room position for candidates with garment, textile, apparel, or fabric-cutting experience who are comfortable working with industrial cutting tools and lifting fabric rolls.
Position: Experienced Garment Cutter
Location: Phoenix, AZ | On-Site
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $17.00–$20.00/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: May be available based on workload
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Cut garment and fabric materials by hand according to production requirements.
- Operate electric rotary cutters and straight-knife cutters.
- Measure, align, and prepare fabric for accurate cutting.
- Lift, move, and stage fabric rolls weighing up to approximately 60 lbs.
- Follow cutting instructions, measurements, layouts, and production specifications.
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity throughout the cutting process.
- Keep the cutting area organized and safe.
- Support other production activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior garment cutting, textile, apparel, sewing, or fabric-cutting experience preferred.
- Experience using rotary cutters, straight-knife cutters, or similar industrial cutting equipment strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to approximately 60 lbs.
- Comfortable standing and working on your feet throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
- Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical ability and willingness to train may also be considered.
Successful employees may have the opportunity to convert into permanent full-time positions.
