We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to ensure the proper function of press stations and tooling within a high-volume production environment. This role focuses on maintaining equipment readiness, supporting process improvements, and ensuring product quality through effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic experience and thrives in a team-oriented manufacturing setting.

- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
- Intermediate mechanical aptitude and repair skills
- Ability to follow standardized processes and engineering setpoints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor process performance
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Ability to work safely in a production environment with PPE requirements

- Exposure to preventative maintenance systems and tooling inspections
- Familiarity with process improvement or manufacturing efficiency initiatives

- Ability to identify defects and support root cause investigations

- Inspect press station mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components and support maintenance scheduling
- Inspect and maintain tooling sets between production runs to ensure operational readiness
- Set up tooling according to engineering-defined setpoints for upcoming production runs
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve tooling setups and maximize uptime and quality
- Participate in root cause analysis of equipment failures across press stations and related systems
- Maintain accurate digital records of tooling conditions, measurements, and adjustments
- Perform basic electrical and pneumatic work and intermediate mechanical repairs
- Monitor production processes and adjust to improve yield, reduce waste, and optimize cycle times
- Investigate and support resolution of product defects
- Train and support operators on manufacturing processes and quality expectations
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities
- Work scheduled shifts, including overtime as required
- Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
- Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements.
- Develop methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
- Set up and maintain gauges.
- Ensure all processes are running on target as defined by the Process Control Plan
- Respond to SPC process control alarms, bringing processes back into control.
- Execute planned process experiments, collect, and analyze data and report experimental results.
- Collect data relating to daily tool performance and associated product performance.
- Provide training to production associates.
- Develop and update internal documentation including drawings, standard operating procedures, and process specifications.
- Interface with internal associates and supplier representatives, as required, to complete assigned projects.
- Develop a complete understanding of area processes, equipment, and support systems.
- Provide training to production associates.
- Maintain effective communication with production associates and manufacturing engineers.
- Disposition non-conforming product according to established criteria (NCP)
- Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
- Ensure waste materials are discarded in their designated containers.
- Ensure hazardous waste containers stay closed except when adding or removing waste.
- Ensure satellite accumulation containers stay in their designated locations.
This role requires standing for extended periods (up to 12 hours) on concrete floors. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, varying temperatures, and noise levels. Required PPE includes steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
- Competitive hourly pay: $26.00–$29.00/hr
