Job Description
Proman Skilled Trades is currently hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers in the Austin area. Candidates should have experience with commercial plumbing systems and equipment and will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on commercial construction projects. We are looking for reliable, hard‑working plumbers who take pride in their craft.
Responsibilities
- Install various types of plumbing pipe and equipment
- Install PVC, sweat and solder copper, and cast‑iron piping
- Install plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, urinals, fountains)
- Journeyman Plumbers: install and maintain plumbing systems for drainage, sewage, and potable water
- Locate, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace plumbing equipment and fixtures as needed
- Enforce all site safety procedures and policies
Essential Job Functions
- At least 3 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Familiarity with plumbing schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Knowledge of plumbing equipment and hand tools
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license (if required)
- Must have own tools and reliable transportation
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
