Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Grounds/Maintenance Technician to join our team in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to maintain and enhance the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities through hands-on maintenance, repairs, and improvements of our grounds. As a key member of our facilities team, you will ensure that our grounds remain clean, safe, and beautiful for our guests.
Duties
- Perform routine duties such as mowing lawns, planting flowers and other plants, using leaf blowers to clean walkways, driveways, and parking areas, clean up debris around property, as well as keep exteriors of buildings clean, well lite, and in good order.
- Assist Maintenance Manger in planning and executing new landscape features such as flower beds.
- Decorating property for holidays such as 4th of July and Christmas.
- Using snow blowers, shovels, and tractors to keep walkways, driveways, and parking areas free of snow during winter.
- Maintaining safety for guests, visitors, and staff on property by keeping walkways, driveways, parking areas in good repair.
- Assisting buildings team in minor maintenance items such as minor plumbing and electrical as needed.
- Maintain, test, and repair sprinkler irrigation systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills in verbal and written.
- Grounds keeping and minor maintenance experience a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
