We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team.
Position Summary
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Start time: 12:00 p.m.
Pay type: Weekly
Pay: $23.00-$30.00/hourly
Key Responsibilities
- Component Repair and Replacement — Perform repairs on engines, drivetrains, suspension systems, and electrical components
- Diagnostic Procedures — Utilize Cummins Insite and related diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Inspections — Conduct DOT, safety, and preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Tire and Brake Maintenance — Perform tire mounting, balancing, brake repairs, and adjustments
- A/C System Service — Diagnose and repair HVAC components and systems
- Fabrication and Welding — Complete light fabrication, welding, and structural repair tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Proficiency in diagnostic software, including Cummins Insite (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical repairs with accuracy and efficiency
- Welding and fabrication experience is highly desirable
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Flexibility with schedule, over time may be required, depending on shop needs
