Built on over 13 years of childcare experience, we are committed to creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where infants and toddlers can learn, grow, and thrive. We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Infant & Toddler Teacher is responsible for providing exceptional care while creating a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment for infants and toddlers. This position focuses on building secure relationships, supporting developmental milestones, and implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional growth.
The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, dependable, and passionate about helping young children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
ResponsibilitiesClassroom Care & Learning
- Create a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote early learning and development.
- Encourage language development, sensory exploration, fine and gross motor skills, and social-emotional growth through play and daily interactions.
- Follow each child's individualized daily schedule, including feeding, diapering, naps, and developmental routines.
- Build strong, responsive relationships with each child through nurturing care and positive interactions.
Supervision & Safety
- Provide active supervision of infants and toddlers at all times.
- Ensure children's safety during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment.
- Follow all center policies, health and safety procedures, and Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards.
- Maintain required classroom ratios and supervision standards.
Child Development & Family Communication
- Observe and support each child's developmental milestones.
- Maintain daily communication with families regarding meals, diapers, naps, activities, and accomplishments.
- Encourage positive social-emotional development through gentle guidance and responsive caregiving.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and administration to provide high-quality care.
Daily Care Responsibilities
- Feed infants and toddlers according to individual schedules.
- Diaper and assist with potty training as appropriate.
- Support healthy sleep routines and comfort children during transitions.
- Clean and sanitize toys, bottles, feeding equipment, and classroom materials throughout the day.
- Assist with maintaining an organized and welcoming classroom.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
- Must be dependable, patient, nurturing, and professional.
- Ability to work well with children, families, and fellow team members.
- Must successfully pass all required background checks.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.

Compensation & Benefits
- $11-$13.00, based on experience and qualifications
