St. John’s Christian Daycare & Preschool is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team. If you have a passion for working with young children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
● Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children can learn and grow.
● Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities.
● Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
● Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
● Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
● Follow all DHS regulations and center policies.
Minimum Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED required.
● Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
● Ability to work as part of a team.
● Strong communication and organizational skills.
● Must obtain or maintain all required state clearances and training.
Preferred Qualifications
● CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus but not required.
● Experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is preferred.
