Backflow CoordinatorJob Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Backflow Coordinator to support our growing Backflow Testing and Repair Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the fire protection industry while gaining experience in scheduling, operations, job management, and customer service.
The Backflow Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating service calls, managing job documentation, tracking technician performance, data entry, backflow reporting, and ensuring jobs move efficiently from start to completion. We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, and eager to learn and grow with our company.
What You'll Be DoingBackflow Scheduling Support
- Assist with scheduling backflow testing, inspections, and repair appointments
- Coordinate schedules and communicate updates with technicians as needed
- Help ensure jobs are properly prepared prior to dispatch
Job Tracking & Documentation
- Review completed inspection reports, test results, and deficiencies for accuracy
- Verify labor, materials, and technician notes are properly documented
- Track jobs from initiation through completion
- Maintain organized and accurate job records
Backflow Data Entry & Reporting
- Enter backflow test results into company software systems, and water juristicitons portholes
- Assist with report preparation and document organization
- Support submission and tracking of required backflow documentation
- Maintain accurate customer and system records
Technician Performance Tracking
- Enter technician activity and production data into performance scorecards
- Track productivity, job completion metrics, and department performance
- Assist management with reporting and operational analysis
Parts & Job Coordination
- Assist with tracking ordered parts and materials
- Help ensure required parts are available before scheduling repairs
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support job readiness
Customer Service
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers by phone and email
- Provide updates regarding scheduling, testing, repairs, and reporting
- Deliver a positive customer experience while representing the company
QualificationsRequired Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or service coordination
- Administrative or office experience in a service-related industry
- Knowledge of backflow prevention systems, plumbing, fire protection, or construction is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer software applications

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
