Pharmacy Technician
MedFront Pharmacy | Dallas, TX Full-Time / Part-Time $15–$25 per hour, based on experience
MedFront Pharmacy is seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our growing independent pharmacy in Dallas.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates well with patients and healthcare providers, and wants the opportunity to grow beyond traditional retail pharmacy. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience in compounding pharmacy as our services continue to expand.
Responsibilities
- Process prescriptions and perform accurate data entry
- Assist patients in person and over the phone
- Communicate with physician offices, insurance companies, and other pharmacies as needed
- Assist with prescription billing and insurance issues
- Manage inventory, medication ordering, and stock organization
- Support pharmacists with daily pharmacy workflow
- Maintain organized pharmacy records, supplies, and work areas
- Assist with compounding workflow, preparation, documentation, and compliance as trained
- Help identify opportunities to improve pharmacy workflow and patient service
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician registration required
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable communicating with patients and healthcare providers
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Pharmacy technician experience preferred - Compounding experience is a plus, but not required
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, proactive, personable, and interested in growing with an independent pharmacy.
You do not need extensive compounding experience. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a strong pharmacy foundation and are genuinely interested in developing their compounding skills.
Position Details
Location: Dallas, TX
Schedule: Full-time preferred; part-time may be considered
Pay: $18.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
