We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development, literacy, math, and physical education.
- Oversee daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.
- Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and individualized learning plans aligned with child welfare standards.
- Collaborate with families through regular communication about their child's progress, milestones, and any special education or early intervention needs.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, fostering professional growth in areas such as classroom management, lesson planning, and childhood development instruction.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child progress and incident reports.
- Incorporate best practices in preschool teaching, preschool experience techniques, and standardized testing where applicable to support each child's learning journey.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including toddler care and preschool teaching.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Proven ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and mandated reporting laws.
- Ability to lead lesson planning sessions that align with developmental milestones and educational standards.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR; experience working with children requiring special accommodations is preferred.
- Must be willing to complete CDA certification
