Job Summary
Gio's Italian Kitchen is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen by ensuring all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment and by hand when necessary.
- Keep the dish area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the shift.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks when requested.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Help maintain a clean and organized back-of-house environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed.
- Restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
