Our small private practice is looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to fit and order frames and lenses, adjust and repair glasses and occasionally help pretest patients. Please apply if you are detail oriented and enjoy helping people.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients with selecting the appropriate eyewear.
- Discussing lens designs and treatments with patients.
- Submitting insurance claims electronically and submitting the order to the optical lab.
- Adjusting and repairing glasses.
- Assisting with contact lens insertion and removal classes.
Our office uses electronic health records so computer experience is mandatory. We have an energetic staff and enjoy taking care of patients while having fun. We do not wear scrubs, so business attire is required.
Requirements:
- 1 year + experience as an optician
- High school diploma or GED
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
