Container International specializes in plastic Loc Bands, Lids and other accessories for the container industry.
Schedule: Friday - Sunday (additional hours may be required )
3rd shift 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
JOB DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:
· Oversee day to day operations
· Responsible for all aspects on injection molding process including, but not limited to, troubleshooting both process and equipment, mold set up and any other possible issues.
· Works closely with QC to ensure parts are dimensionally correct and makes adjustments as needed.
· Coordinates daily priorities with Production as well as communicates daily issues to the next shift.
· Optimization of cycle times and reduction of scrap.
· Documentation of process conditions for existing molds, new molds and equipment.
· Ensures all work safety rules, policies and procedures are being followed.
· Production area is kept clean, tidy, organized and is a safe working area.
· Responsible for properly cleaning mold before startup and after shutdown.
· Adheres to all lockout tagout procedures.
· Must be able to read and complete all production and/or quality documentation in a timely matter.
· All other duties as assigned.
· Candidate must also be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
· Operate a crane, hoist, pallet jack, and forklift.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Previous skills set in an injection molding machinery (ie. Toshiba, Arburg, Husky, Nissei, Engel)
· Knowledge in ERP system
· Supervisory capabilities
· H.S. graduate or GED equivalent
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
· Basic computer experience, i.e. data entry, worksheets, excel, etc.
· Candidates must be detail oriented and able to keep up in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
