As a Production Associate at our manufacturing facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our products. Key Responsibilities
· Product Expertise: Maintain thorough knowledge of our products to ensure customers receive the correct items in the desired quantities.
· Equipment Operation: Operate various machines (e.g., cutoff saws, shears, brakes, presses) with precision, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring product quality.
· Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure smooth operation.
· Material Handling: Efficiently handle materials, using forklifts and other lifting devices, ensuring safe and organized storage and transportation.
· Quality Assurance: Monitor production for any defects or malfunctions and take corrective actions as necessary.
· Team Collaboration: Assist fellow operators in machine setup and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
Specific Roles
· Brake Operator: Focus on fabricating metal components, following job specifications and ensuring dimensional accuracy.
· Forklift Operator: Manage the movement of products and materials, maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring safe handling.
· Roll Form Machine Operator: Specialize in shaping metal sheets and structures, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours) on concrete floors.
· Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
· Dexterity in hands and fingers, with the ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
· Good vision capabilities, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
Work Environment
· Non-climate-controlled area with a usually loud noise level.
