Alexander Mechanical is a growing family-owned company seeking motivated, reliable, and skilled Commercial Sheet Metal Installer Journeymen who are looking to build a long-term career with our HVAC and sheet metal division.
We are seeking candidates with commercial sheet metal installation experience who take pride in their craftsmanship, work safely, and can work independently as well as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial sheet metal systems installation experience preferred
- Can work with limited guidance and offer assistance to any apprentice or entry-level employee
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Experience installing ductwork, fittings, equipment, and related HVAC components preferred but not required
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, submittals and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction safety practices
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to job sites
- Ability to lift, carry, and work with sheet metal materials and equipment up to 80lbs
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and elevated work areas
