We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team at a Day Habilitation Program in Dayton, New Jersey.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities
The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and provide individualized physical therapy services in accordance with each individual’s established plan of care.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatment
* Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
* Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility
* Support improvement in strength, endurance, coordination, and overall physical function
* Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress in a timely manner
* Communicate changes in patient status to the supervising Physical Therapist
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, caregivers, and day program staff
* Maintain professional, ethical, and compliant documentation practices
* Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
Qualifications
* Current New Jersey PTA license
* Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
* Current CPR certification preferred
* Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
* Experience or interest in working with adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities

Hourly Rate: $35/hour
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Primary Patient Care: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Location: Dayton, New Jersey
At 40 hours per week, the position provides approximately $72,800 in annual base compensation, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, holidays, health insurance contribution, continuing education support, and retirement plan options.
