Gran Blanco is a modern coastal restaurant & cocktail lounge in Venice, known for elevated cuisine, craft cocktails, live jazz, and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. We’re seeking a confident, personable Host to be the first point of contact for our guests and help set the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
Compensation
- $17.87 per hour, plus tips
What You’ll Do
- Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and walk-ins using our booking system
- Coordinate seating flow to ensure smooth service and optimal pacing
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and management
- Answer guest questions regarding menus, wait times, and special events
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the host stand and entrance
- Assist with guest needs throughout their visit when needed
- Uphold Gran Blanco’s hospitality standards and brand presentation
What We’re Looking For
- Previous host or front-of-house experience required
- Strong communication and people skills
- Calm, organized, and professional under pressure
- Team-oriented with a hospitality-first mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and special events
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
