Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Spa Massage Therapist to join Upscale Med Spa located within Hotel Murano. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services, focusing on patient comfort, pain relief, and overall wellness. This role offers an opportunity to work in a luxurious environment dedicated to enhancing clients' health and beauty through personalized treatments. The therapist will be responsible for delivering a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy, tailored to meet individual client needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities aimed at pain management and relaxation.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
- Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming, relaxing environment and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies.
- Adhere to all occupational health standards and safety protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided and client progress in compliance with spa policies.
Experience
- Proven experience as a massage therapist in a med spa or similar upscale setting preferred.
- Strong background in patient assessment, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology.
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally and empathetically.
- Prior experience working within a med spa environment is highly desirable.
