The Old Globe, one of San Diego’s most celebrated professional theatres, is seeking Ticket Services Representatives to join our Ticket Office team in beautiful Balboa Park. The Old Globe seeks Ticket Services Representatives to provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with ticket and subscription purchases both over the phone and in person at the walk-up window.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist patrons with ticket purchases, exchanges, and subscription orders via phone and at the ticket window
- Distribute will call tickets and provide in-person support on performance days
- Deliver accurate information regarding productions, seating, and policies
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about The Old Globe’s history, programming, and offerings
- Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service at all times
- Accurately process transactions using ticketing systems and computer software

The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:
- Previous customer service experience required
- Strong telephone, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Availability to work nights and weekends required
- Schedule availability Tuesday–Sunday, approximately 12:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. or 8:15 p.m., with some seasonal schedule adjustments
- Ability to work approximately 16–30 hours per week
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, access, and anti-racism work
- Ticket reps will work on show nights distributing will call and assisting patrons at the window. Ticket reps will become knowledgeable in the history of the Globe and current product offerings in order to best assist patrons.
Hourly pay range is $19.75 to $20.75. Training pay rate starts at $19.75/hour with increases earned up to $20.75/hour following full training. Position also includes staff ticket privileges.
