DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To monitor various intrusion alarm equipment and operate a voice radio to receive/transmit communications regarding routine and emergency security activity.
Handle and/or direct all incoming telephone calls.
- Record and deliver messages received via telephone.
- Disseminate information received from Board personnel and general public reporting irregularities, incidents and emergencies at Board of Education facilities.
- Notify on-call repair personnel for after hour maintenance, damage or malfunction problems.
· Coordinate calls with patrol officers, school board personnel and police and fire department when necessary.
Complete and maintain a variety of logs, records, and information cards.

Notify Security officers on duty of all activations of intrusion alarm resulting from unauthorized entry. To monitor location and any subsequent activity of said alarm and apprise appropriate patrol officers of any changes.
- Monitor events until officer declares the situation clear.
- Supply assistance to Security Officers on duty regarding daily functioning of school system
Perform other duties as assigned.
