Assistant General Manager – Hotel Operations
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to work alongside the General Manager in leading the daily operations of our hotel.
This role is ideal for a self-directed professional who enjoys balancing hands-on leadership with administrative responsibilities while maintaining exceptional guest service and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Supervise, coach, and support department staff while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
- Balance time between operational oversight and administrative responsibilities, including reporting, scheduling, training, and other property requirements.
- Communicate regularly with the General Manager and department supervisors to ensure seamless operations and consistent follow-through.
- Provide backup coverage for departments as needed and assist with organizing staffing to meet operational demands.
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality is preferred.- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing operational needs.
- A mature, empathetic leadership style with the ability to hold team members accountable while treating them with respect.
- Self-motivated with the initiative to anticipate needs and provide proactive support to the General Manager.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
