We are looking for a Cook / Barback to help prepare food and help bartenders during shifts. We are a bar with a small kitchen and small menu. This position pays $14 - $15 hour plus cash tips paid daily. Cash tips average $30-$100+ a day depending on how busy the shift you work is. Applicants that can meet the following responsibilities and skills can reply to this ad. Available shifts are from 6pm-3am. We are are bar that is open till 2am.
Responsibilities
- Cook food.
- Clean kitchen.
- Change fryer oil.
- Keep walk-ins, coolers, and equipment clean.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
- Help bar with stocking.
- Help bar with washing glassware.
- Bus and wipe down tables.
- Moping.
- Keeping restrooms stocked and clean.
Skills
- Experience as cook
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
