Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and equipment. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform appliance repair and installation tasks for various commercial appliances, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks across multiple locations.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and system manuals to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed in compliance with operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to lead small projects or assist in large-scale maintenance initiatives that improve facility reliability and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and ventilation systems; experience with HVAC & appliance technology is highly desirable.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across various systems.
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within construction or industrial environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely; construction experience is a plus.
- Leadership qualities that enable you to guide junior team members or lead small projects confidently.
