We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Special Finance Manager to lead our vehicle financing operations and enhance customer satisfaction. Duties
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness through detailed credit analysis and TILA (Truth in Lending Act) compliance to determine suitable financing options
- Manage the loan approval process, including loan officer responsibilities, deal structuring, and contract preparation with precision and transparency
- Develop strong relationships with customers by providing clear explanations of financing terms, upselling additional products, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Negotiate deals effectively to maximize profitability while aligning with customer needs and dealership policies
- Process title work, title processing, and related documentation accurately using financial software and other dealership systems
- Conduct deal reviews, review contracts for accuracy, and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations including TILA requirements
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling finance products and extended warranties to enhance revenue streams
- Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, including loan processing documentation, credit applications, and contracts
Experience
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or Finance Manager within the automotive or financial services industry
- Strong background in credit analysis, deal structuring, and contract negotiation with a focus on automobile sales
- Familiarity with dealership operations, including title processing, deal approval workflows, and automotive finance software systems
- Knowledge of TILA regulations and other federal/state compliance standards related to consumer lending
- Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency
- Basic math skills including proficiency in 10 key typing for accurate data entry and calculations
- Prior experience in negotiation, sales strategies, and deal closing within a dealership environment is highly desirable
