Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while optimizing route driving for maximum productivity
- Assist with heavy lifting of merchandise, ensuring items are loaded and unloaded carefully to prevent damage
- Communicate clearly with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and address any concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs promptly, and uphold safety standards at all times
Experience
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with route driving software or GPS systems for efficient navigation
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking during deliveries
- Military background in logistics or transportation is considered an asset
