Language Academia is looking for an enthusiastic Japanese Language Coach who is passionate about teaching, Japanese culture, and helping students gain real confidence in speaking Japanese.
We work with students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced learners—as well as actors, performers, and professionals seeking language and cultural coaching.
This is more than a tutoring position. We're looking for someone who wants to help build exciting educational content and become part of a growing international language community.

Responsibilities
- Teach one-on-one Japanese lessons
- Teach small group classes
- Prepare engaging lessons based on student goals
- Support students with pronunciation, conversation, grammar, and culture
- Contribute ideas for new courses and educational content
- Participate in YouTube videos and social media projects
Qualifications
- Fluent in Japanese.
- Ability to teach Japanese from beginner through advanced levels.
- Ability to develop, adapt, and personalize curriculum based on each student's goals and proficiency.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Proficiency in an additional language is preferred.
- Minimum of an Associate degree in Linguistics, Language Education, Japanese Studies, Performance Arts, History, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, or a related field.
- Comfortable speaking on camera with a natural, engaging presence.

Preferred Qualifications

- Acting, film, or performance experience.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
- Fluency in three or more languages.
- Ability to recognize, classify, and teach multiple Japanese regional dialects and accents.
- Strong interest in Japanese language, culture, history, and media
- Experience creating educational materials or curriculum
Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
