Job Overview
The skilled Underground Utility Pipelayer is responsible for installing and grading water, sewer, storm drain, and dry utilities with minimal supervision. This role is vital in ensuring accurate trench grading and utility placement, contributing to the successful completion of infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
- Grade trenches using multiple methods including laser and flow liner to ensure precise elevation and alignment
- Read survey data accurately and set up laser or flow liner equipment accordingly
- Install water, sewer, storm drain, and dry utility lines according to project specifications and safety standards
- Verify and maintain high quality standards in all work activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Adapt quickly to new techniques, tools, and project changes to meet deadlines and quality expectations
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues promptly
- Complete work efficiently to meet project timelines while maintaining safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in using laser and flow liner equipment for grading and setup
- Ability to read and interpret survey data and technical drawings
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to utility installation and construction sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
