Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. Opportunities include TEA SERVER for our afternoon tea Tuesday-Sunday 11am-5pm, FINE DINING SERVER for our expanding dinner service Tuesday-Sunday 5:30pm-9:30pm and PUB SERVER for our historic 1747 Pub and outdoor courtyard with live music daily 11am-close. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food service industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu knowledge, including daily specials, to assist guests in their selections.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards throughout service.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Micros POS and OpenTable systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
