Do you enjoy being around cars and want an opportunity to enter the automotive industry? Dealers Auto Auction of Idaho is looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our team as a Lot & Gate Attendant.
No automotive experience is required—we will train the right person.
This is a great entry-level opportunity to learn how a wholesale auto auction operates while gaining hands-on experience with cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles. You’ll stay active, work both independently and with a supportive team, and learn skills that can lead to future opportunities within our company and the automotive industry.
What You’ll Do
- Check vehicles into the auction as they arrive
- Verify VINs and vehicle information for accuracy
- Apply stock numbers and sale stickers
- Assist dealers and transport drivers at the gate
- Organize vehicles and help maintain inventory throughout the lot
- Move vehicles safely around the facility
- Help prepare the lot for our weekly auction sales
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and professional
- Work with different types of cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles
What You’ll Learn

What We’re Looking For
You do not need previous auction or automotive experience. We are looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
- Is dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Pays attention to details
- Enjoys staying active and working outdoors
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Can safely operate a variety of vehicles, or is willing to learn
Automotive experience is helpful, but it is not required.
