Operating Room RN's needed for a busy fast paced Orthopedic Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Waltham, MA. FT - 30-40 hours per week. No weekends, no major holidays or call. Free covered parking onsite

- Deliver high-quality patient care in the operating room, prioritizing safety, comfort, and advocacy.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain the operating room to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
- Function as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures, managing instruments, supplies, equipment, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to support smooth, timely procedures.
- Continuously assess and monitor patients’ conditions, intervening appropriately and escalating concerns as needed.
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely patient records in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and sterile technique protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and competency validation to remain current with best practices.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous operating room nursing experience; ambulatory surgery center experience highly preferred.
- Strong orthopedic background, especially in total joint procedures preferred.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, quality outcomes, and safety.
