Matern Staffing is seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to serve as the eCommerce Operations Manager (job order 4019) for our client, overseeing a high-volume, multi-channel eCommerce operation. This role is responsible for daily warehouse operations, fulfillment, inventory flow, specialty product processing, and online sales support, with a focus on driving revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Working closely with the Senior Director of E-Commerce, this leader will execute operational strategies, optimize workflows, manage expenses, and maximize the value of donated goods sold across multiple online marketplaces. This is a highly active, floor-based leadership role requiring strong day-to-day involvement in warehouse operations to support teams, remove bottlenecks, and ensure performance goals are met.
This is a direct hire position.
Salary:
$65,000 - $70,000
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, with occasional weekend work
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily eCommerce warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and production operations
- Supervise and develop Assistant Managers and operational teams
- Drive performance through key metrics including revenue, productivity, labor efficiency, and sell-through rate
- Improve workflows, reduce costs, and support scalable growth
- Maintain a hands-on presence to resolve issues and support daily operations
- Oversee fulfillment, shipping, inventory accuracy, and order processing across online marketplaces
- Manage specialty product categories such as collectibles, jewelry, and trading cards
- Support staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Use data and reporting to guide decisions and improve operations
- Ensure safety, quality, and operational standards are consistently met
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in eCommerce, warehouse, fulfillment, or retail operations
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory, and fulfillment workflows
- Experience managing performance metrics, labor efficiency, and operational costs
- Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements
- Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with eCommerce or inventory systems preferred
