Duties
- Create welcoming, engaging environments, promoting curiosity, exploration and wonder.
- Foster children's self-esteem, independence and confidence.
- Encourage investigation, inquiry and collaborative learning through open-ended experiences.
- Build meaningful relationships, nurturing empathy, belonging and a sense of community with a shared history.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials to ensure a safe environment.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, to ensure the well-being of every child.
Skills/Qualifications
- 12 core ECE units.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom experience with toddlers, or preschoolers.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, parents, and caregivers effectively.
- Passion for caregiving, nurturing, and supporting the growth of young learners in a safe and stimulating environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
