Advanced Recovery of the Midwest is a local, family-owned restoration company serving the Kansas City and Leavenworth, KS area with over 35 years of experience. We specialize in water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire cleanup, crawlspace repair, and more. When families and businesses face their worst days, our team shows up ready to help — with quality craftsmanship and genuine care.
The Role
We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working Restoration Technician to join our crew. In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside our team to execute daily restoration jobs under the direction of the Project Manager. You’ll help our clients recover from some of the hardest moments of their lives — and that work matters.
What You’ll Do
- Check in with the Project Manager each morning, review the day’s schedule and job plan, and get questions answered before heading out
- Confirm all necessary supplies and equipment are stocked in the vehicle before leaving the base
- Execute all aspects of the daily job plan on-site; communicate any issues to the Project Manager and help work toward solutions
- Document each job in Jobber (our mobile job management software) with daily notes and required photo documentation
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Follow all safety protocols on every job site — safety is our #1 priority, always
- Maintain a professional, friendly presence with every client
- Work collaboratively with your crew and other teams across the company
- Be available to work past standard hours on days when a job requires it
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation (standard insurance preferred; SR-22/high-risk insurance is a disqualifier)
- Clean criminal record
- Smartphone capable of running the Jobber app (used for job documentation and daily time tracking)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with coworkers and clients
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects occasionally
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and genuine enthusiasm for doing quality work
- Willingness to show up daily in a clean, company-supplied shirt — clothes should be clean and presentable
- Team player who takes pride in the work and in representing the company well
Compensation & Perks
