The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be an integral member of the Food & Beverage leadership team. Under the direction and supervision of the Food & Beverage manager, the Food & Beverage Lead will be responsible for the coordination of daily Food & Beverage operations, guest service, and safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities and Function:
· Complete Epic F&B Training and Complete the Epic Way Training
· Assist in training new associates, supervising and ensure consistency within the team with spectacular communication
· Assist Food & Beverage staff with guest complaints and misunderstandings in an articulate and dignified manner. Do not hesitate to escalate the guest concern to your managers.
· Assist where you are needed. (Be attentive to all aspects of swift food service)
· Inspecting of all equipment and cleanliness daily to ensure safety standards and working order condition
· Practices excellent communication skills, shares information to other shifts and to management through verbal communications and daily shift reports.
· Has a complete understanding of all emergency plans, safety and operating procedures/standards- especially with regard to handling guests and maintaining service in the event that an emergency or other issue arises
· Follows procedure and reports all incidents to manager immediately
· Assist Food and Beverage team with continued training to include till and cabana training, customer service etiquette and efficiency.
· Preform daily administrative such as shift operating checklists, staff check in and breaks
· Provides input and ideas on the F&B operation are and participates in training initiatives and skill development to provide feedback to improve the department.
· Assumes responsibility for the daily operation of the department as needed.
· Works to maintain an efficient, cooperative atmosphere among staff members.
· Maintains a general knowledge of the entire F&B operation.
· Willingness to accept the most effective role.
Job specific position requirements
· Minimum of 1 year experience in Food Service preferred with Food Handlers certificate (TABC if of age)
· Basic leadership skills and communication
Job and Work Requirements:
· Availability to work on all shifts, during the normal operating hours of the waterpark. Must be available to work as needed on an “on-call” basis when requested.
· Availability must include weekends and holidays with minimal requests for extended periods of time off (any prior commitments must be addressed before start date)
· Ability to work autonomously and as a member of the team.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
