OtterSoft has an open position, full-time contracted. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our growing team. This role requires a strategic product leader who can identify market opportunities, deeply understand customer needs, define product vision, and successfully guide products from concept to launch and beyond. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our AI-driven software platforms by balancing customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
The ideal candidate has experience taking products from 0→1 and scale them from 1→N— transforming ideas into successful products through customer discovery, market research, product strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. You are equally comfortable defining long-term product vision as you are partnering with engineering to deliver high-quality software.
You do not need to be an engineer or software architect, but you should possess the technical fluency necessary to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, understand modern software platforms, and make informed product decisions.
About the Role
We are looking for a high-impact Product Manager who believes the future of product management is AI-first—not AI-assisted. This is not a traditional Product Owner role focused primarily on backlog management and sprint execution.
This is also not an engineering or software architecture role. Engineering teams own technical design, architecture decisions, and implementation.
You own the product.
You define the product vision.
You identify customer problems worth solving.
You validate ideas before building them.
You prioritize investments that maximize customer value and business outcomes.
You develop and communicate the product roadmap.
You align stakeholders around a shared vision.
You help transform ideas into products customers love.
We build, validate, learn, and iterate continuously.
We use AI throughout product discovery, planning, documentation, engineering collaboration, and product management.
We measure success through customer outcomes, adoption, business value, and working software—not meetings and documentation.
If you enjoy solving complex business problems, working directly with customers, influencing product direction, and helping build innovative software products, we'd love to talk.
If you prefer narrowly defined Product Owner responsibilities, lengthy requirements cycles, or highly structured environments where strategy is already determined, this role is likely not the right fit.

- Lead product discovery for new initiatives and enhancements
- Take products from concept through launch and continuous improvement
- Conduct customer interviews and user research to identify pain points and validate opportunities

- Define product strategy based on customer insights, market opportunities, and business objectives
- Develop MVP strategies and prioritize features based on customer value and business impact
- Translate product strategy into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and engineering requirements
- Partner closely with UX, Engineering, Leadership, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
- Drive roadmap planning, release planning, and backlog prioritization
- Define product success metrics and use data to inform product decisions
- Analyze customer feedback, product usage, and business performance to continuously improve the product
- Use AI tools as a core productivity and decision-making accelerator
- Help shape AI-first product management practices across the organization
