Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVACR Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and field service experience. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct inspections of heating and cooling systems to identify potential problems.
- Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects requiring multiple skill sets.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems and equipment repair.
- Experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems and boiler operations is a plus.
- Proficient in reading schematics and understanding HVAC design principles.
- Experience in construction or property maintenance can enhance job performance.
- Knowledge of appliance repair techniques is beneficial for troubleshooting various equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
