Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Handle floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and using industrial cleaning equipment to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens efficiently while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and ongoing property upkeep.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to support smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or similar hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and industrial floor maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards.
- Ability to operate janitorial equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and guest service expectations.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising team members is a plus but not required.
