Overview
The Real Estate Transaction Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire transaction process from contract to closing. You will work closely with agents, clients, lenders, and escrow officers to ensure a smooth and efficient closing process. Your primary goal will be to manage timelines, coordinate documentation, and ensure compliance with all real estate laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage real estate transactions from contract to close.
- Ensure all required documents are completed, accurate, and in compliance with local and state regulations.
- Monitor transaction progress and manage timelines for contingencies, inspections, appraisals, and closing dates.
- Act as a liaison between real estate agents, clients, title companies, and lenders to ensure all parties are informed and updated.
- Review and verify contract details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with the title company to ensure the title is clear for closing.
- Handle scheduling for inspections, appraisals, and closings.
- Keep all transaction documents organized in the appropriate systems (e.g.CRM, or other software).
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the transaction process, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.
- Assist with post-closing duties, such as follow-ups and closing file organization.
- Support the real estate team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Transaction Coordinator or in a similar role within real estate (preferred).
- Strong understanding of real estate contracts, timelines, and closing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in real estate software, CRM systems, and transaction management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with a team and independently.
- Knowledge of state and local real estate laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); real estate license (highly preferred but not required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
