Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe operation of the vehicle. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various driving conditions.
Duties
-Contract Labor
- Operate dump trucks and other commercial vehicles, including roll-off trucks, tankers, and flatbeds.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently at designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and materials transported.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Assist with manual transmission operations as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the truck.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with dump trucks and tractor-trailers.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Previous experience in construction or similar industries is a plus.
