ESTIMATOR
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting the planning and bidding process for construction projects. Key responsibilities include:
· Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors based on project plans and specifications.
· Review drawings, blueprints, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
· Solicit and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to develop competitive project bids.
· Analyze project risks, pricing, and cost trends to ensure accurate estimates.
· Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records.
· Assist in preparing bid proposals and supporting documentation.
· Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
· Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
· Preferred proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera P6, and InSite Elevation.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines.

Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 years of estimating experience in the construction industry preferred
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
