An established, patient-centered practice run by a talented, friendly team wants to welcome a lead RDA to our practice. This position is full time (Monday through Thursday, 7:30am-5pm).
An ideal candidate must:
- Provide supportive, compassionate care and communication for our patients.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with administrative, hygiene, and provider teams to coordinate patient care.
- Work independently and self-start.
- Quickly learn and retain new skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the office, prepare them for treatment, explain treatment steps, address concerns, and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
- Set up operatories and chairside assist for a variety of dental procedures
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient health information
- Sterilization and infection control in accordance with regulations
- Maintain office supply and equipment inventory, stock rooms, and order supplies
- Supervise and train dental assistants
Skills
- Time management
- Anticipate patient schedule and procedure steps
- Digital scanning
- Current RDA license
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience
- Desirable skills: volunteerism, Open Dental experience, Spanish fluency
