We are currently looking for an experienced CPA or staff accountant to join our team. This position provides room to grow in financial reporting, auditing, and tax preparation. QuickBooks experience is a plus. A person who enjoys learning new things and challenging work will be successful in our firm.
Once trained, this position can work from home but also needs to come into the office periodically in Federal Way for initial and ongoing training and team collaboration.
We value work-life balance - and overtime is rarely expected.
This position may be a full or part -time (at least 25 hours a week).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients by phone, e-mail, video conferencing, and occasionally in person
- Prepare financial statements (compilations, reviews, and audits) and tax returns
- Support clients with accounting, QuickBooks, payroll, and tax compliance
- Review and reconcile general ledger and payroll accounts
- Maintain professional standards and collaborate with team members
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
- Have CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
- Minimum 1-year accounting experience in a CPA firm or corporate setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and tax software
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to wok accurately and effectively in a deadline-driven environment

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per month
