Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves working closely with toddlers, providing educational experiences that promote their development and well-being.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Provide engaging activities that promote learning in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a clean, organized classroom.
- Support early intervention strategies for children who may need additional assistance.
- Engage in tutoring sessions for children requiring extra help in specific subjects.
Requirements
- CDA preferred but are willing to train the right canidate.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early intervention techniques.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies and child welfare practices.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their growth.
