About the Role
As a Precision Tooling Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining high-precision manufacturing standards by fabricating, repairing, and optimizing complex metalworking dies, jigs, and fixtures. You will leverage your expertise in CNC programming and shop mathematics to translate intricate blueprints into high-quality components that drive production efficiency.
Responsibilities-
Analyze complex blueprints and technical sketches to determine optimal machining sequences and material requirements.

Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-tolerance parts with precision.

Execute precise measurement and verification of components using advanced instruments like micrometers and gauge blocks to ensure strict adherence to GD&T standards.

Perform manual finishing, heat-treating, and assembly of tooling components to ensure seamless mechanical function.

Collaborate with engineering teams to recommend design improvements for existing dies and fixtures to enhance performance.

Maintain a high-output machine shop environment by managing tool changeovers and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Qualifications-
High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-volume production machining.

Advanced proficiency in CNC programming, G-Code, and CNC machine setup.

Strong command of blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Proven ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced manufacturing demands.

Prior experience within the aerospace or specialized manufacturing sectors.

Demonstrated expertise in complex tooling design.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
