ABOUT THE ROLE:
Desert Star Plastics is seeking an experienced Shop Floor Supervisor / Lead Fabricator to oversee daily production in our custom fabrication shop. Working alongside a skilled 6-person crew, you will ensure jobs are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
.Lead daily workflow across custom plastic fabrication lines (CNC routing, vacuum forming, cutting,gluing)
. Ensure job specs, tolerances, and quality standards are met on every order.
. Maintain shop safety, tool organization, and machine maintenance routines.
. Communicate job progress directly with ownership to hit production targets.
REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of hands-on plastic fabrication or custom shop manufacturing experience (wood-metal-millwork). Proven track record leading or supervising a shop floor crew. Deep familiarity with shop machinery, blue prints, and material handling.
Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a constructive attitude.ced environment.
Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
