Salary/Pay Range: Wage based on Experience. Will pay for experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Process title documentation for all new, used, and wholesale vehicle transactions.
- Verify legal paperwork for compliance with state, federal, and DMV regulations.
- Submit registration packages to state agencies quickly to prevent consumer delays.
- Resolve title discrepancies by interfacing directly with lenders, auctions, and customers.
- Maintain precise ledger records for all tax, title, and registration fees collected.
- Collaborate closely with management to track and report missing or problematic titles.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:Previous auto dealership title clerk experience is strictly required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of state DMV frameworks, out-of-state transfers, and tax regulations.
- Skills: Incredible attention to detail, strong data entry speed, and great problem-solving skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with dealership management software like Automate, Dealertrack, Vitu online reg
