We are seeking a self motivated individual to join our team. We are an 1800 cow dairy farm, with our own heifer facilities. We also have a full tractor and truck fleet which is all maintained in house. We are a farm who adapts to new technologies and practices to increase productivity and cow well being. Salary is a range and will be set based on applicants experience and expertise.
Responsibilities would include but not be limited too:
Milking sick cows, fresh cow checks, over all herd health observations and treatments, vaccinations, reproductive therapies, sorting/drafting cows, records keeping, assisting with pregnancy/veterinary check morning and tractor driving as needed. This position can truly be tailored to an individuals skill set and passions.
Skills that would be helpful to a candidate, but not essential:
AI technician class certified, skid steer proficiency, experience with large equipment, Spanish language skill. Degree not required but welcome.
